What Is Tsubame-Tsuiki Copperware?
Tsubame-tsuiki copperware is a traditional technique cultivated by generations of craftsmen in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
A malleable copper plate is hammered several hundred thousand times, giving the surface a smooth and shiny appearance.
The copper's texture ages well with proper care. Copper teapots are ideal for pouring tea as the taste becomes milder due to metal ion reactions.
The most attractive features of Tsubame Tsuiki is an art in itself, creates beautiful patterning, and each item has its own unique appearance and characteristics and this is the charm to be found only in a handmade craft. 3. Shipping Cost
Currently, we use DHL Express for all shipments all over the world.
It generally costs USD35.00/per item for weight below 2kg and USD54.00/per item over 2 kg to 3.5 kg shipping to the USA, Australia, and most other countries. Shipping costs may vary in the quantity of the item. And please note the total weight or the dimensional weight of the item. Even though an item weight 2kg generally costs USD35.00, the shipping cost is more expensive due to the dimensional weight.
