Shodo is the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy, in which Japanese Kanji characters and kana characters are written with brushes and ink and on top of that you need some tools for Shodo such as an ink stone, an ink stick, and underlay. To make it simple and easy to start Shodo, Akashiya's brush pen is exactly right product.
