First time ever we have started dealing with local products of Okinawa Prefecture.
Okinawa traditional style rice soup bowl, besides using it as rice bowl, you can also use it for ice cream, snacks, soup or whatever strikes your fancy. "Miitun-CHAWAN" is Okinawa's traditional dialect and Mitun means the strength of a married couple's bond and Chawan means a rice bowl. You can chose 2 pair of bowls from our selection and we would be happy if you use it carefully for many years to come as a married couple. This rice bowl is a collaboration with Mino ware. Also great item as a gift to your family or to your close friend, We do gift wrapping upon your request.

The patterns represents Okinawa’s culture and are applied to the cloth through a pattern stencil or freehand. This fabric has been used for formal clothes traditionally since the Ryukyu Kingdom era.(about 500 years ago)
